School of Energy and Environment Carried the Science and Technology Poverty Alleviation Service in Queshan – Zhongyuan University of Technology

Recently, Ding Shumin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Energy and Environment, Duan Xuejun, the dean of the school, and other scientific and technological backbones went to Queshan county to promote and improve poverty alleviation.

Led by Tang Ke, director of the Management Committee of Queshan Industrial Agglomeration Zone, and Yue Wenfeng, chief engineer of Longtong company, they made an on-the-spot investigation of Zhumadian Longshan General Machinery Co., Ltd., by which, the group of people understood the production and product sales of the enterprise in detail. Based on the professional experience, the school's key scientific and technological backbones provided guidance on how to solve the technical bottleneck with the enterprise's technical personnel, and put forward a number of suggestions for the future transformation and development of enterprises. At the same time, it coule help Longtong company to establish contact with the enterprises founded by our alumni, so as to achieve greater assistance effect.

In order to make the assistance normalized and long-lasting, the school signed an industry university research cooperation agreement with Longtong company, and held the unveiling ceremony of scientific research experimental station. Duan Xuejun said that the school would give full play to its discipline advantages, help industrial development from engineering design and other aspects, solve technical problems, and help enterprises obtain real benefits. Tang Ke and Yue Wenfeng highly praised the school's support work and expressed their gratitude for the school's contribution to poverty alleviation in Queshan county.

The school Party Committee also organized all staff members of the Environmental Party Branch to carry out the Party Day Activities with the theme of environmental protection in Queshan county by closely following the theme of "beautiful China, I am an actor" and giving full play to the discipline advantages, to help strengthen local ecological and environmental protection.

During the stay, all Party members and comrades visited the Revolutionary Memorial Hall of Zhugou in Queshan to learn the selfless dedication spirit of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries. Guided by the demand of Queshan industry, they said that they would learn from the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries, find out the focus, give full play to professional advantages, and make contributions to the poverty alleviation of Queshan old revolutionary base areas.
