School of Energy and Environment Successfully Held the 2019 Faculty Democratic Management Conference

At 1:45 p.m. on December 31, 2019, School of Energy and Environment held the "Fourth Third Faculty Democratic Management Conference and Trade Union Membership Meeting" in Conference Room 201,Building 9. Ding Shumin, Secretary of the General Party Branch of School, School President Duan Xuejun, Deputy Secretary Zhang Haibin, vice president Zhang DingCai, vice president Zhu Caixia, vice president Wang Fang and all faculty members attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Cao Kan, publicity committee member of the Branch Labor Union.

President Duan Xuejun made the 2019 report comprehensively on the work of Party building, teaching, discipline construction, scientific research, laboratory, postgraduate education, undergraduate education and other aspects to all teachers, and arranged the work in 2020. Cao Kan, the Branch Labor Union Committee member (presided over the work of the Branch Labor Union), introduced the achievements and self-organizing activities of the School Branch Labor Union in detail in 2019 from the aspects of the central work of school, democratic management, service to the staffs and close attention to self-construction, etc.,. Finally, he made a prospect for the work plan of the Labor Union in 2020.

The meeting deliberated and passed the "College Work Report", "Labor Union Work Report", "School Financial Report" and "Labor Union Financial Report" of School of Energy and Environment. It also conducted democratic evaluation on all cadres above section level in accordance with the Cadre Assessment Regulations formulated by the Organization Department of School.

Finally, Secretary Ding Shumin put forward new expectations and requirements for the future work of the Branch Labor Union from four aspects: adhering to the central work of the school, serving the staff wholeheartedly, strengthening the study of Labor Union cadres and mobilizing the enthusiasm of the staff. She also hoped that all the staff of the school would actively participate in the work of the Branch Labor Union and make their own contributions to the development of the school. The meeting came to an end with Secretary Ding's new year's blessing.
