In order to deeply implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the "11.21" particularly serious fire accident in Anyang, in accordance with the notice of the Office of the Henan Provincial Department of Education on the issuance of the "Implementation Plan for the Special Rectification and Supervision and Inspection of Major Safety Hidden Dangers in the Province's Education System at the Year-end and New Year Holidays" (Education Office Safety [2022] No. 406), special rectification supervision and inspection of potential safety problems throughout the school were carried out by the School of Energy and Environment. According to the requirements of the special rectification supervision and inspection plan for school safety problems, the School of Energy ＆Environment launched a comprehensive safety problem inspection on December 29, 2022.

On the same day, Zheng Huifan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Zhu Caixia, Deputy Dean of the College, and Wang Shiyuan, Deputy Director of the Experimental Center, went down to every department and laboratory to actively supervise and carry out special rectification work for safety inspections and hidden risks, identify the responsible persons for problems, rectify and implement them one by one, and take multiple measures to ensure the safe and orderly advancement of all work. In the laboratory, the equipment is comprehensively inspected on site, and potential safety problems were eliminated and safety accidents were resolutely prevented and contained.

Through self-inspection and self-improvement, the college's ability to independently assess risks, independently check safety, and independently rectify potential safety problems will be further improved. In the next step, the college will conduct a safety inspection review for the problems found in the investigation to effectively improve the safety level of the college.
